Welcome to the Intensive Care Unit

Mercy Hospitals Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides specialized medical and nursing care. Family members and visitors often have many questions and concerns when someone is hospitalized in the ICU. We will introduce you to the health professionals who work in the ICU and their roles at Mercy Hospital. We hope to help answer common questions about our services and policies for visitors, as well as typical terms and procedures used in the Intensive Care Unit.
