What is required of volunteers?
Volunteers are required to:
Commit to one shift every other week (approximately 8 hours a month) or as service area requires. The minimum commitment is 50 hours, or about 6 months.
Complete a health screening and criminal background check which are provided free of charge. The health screening includes MMR and Chicken Pox immunity status and a TB Screening.
Attend orientation and service specific training.

Attend orientation and complete the background check form and health screening. Make a placement appointment with the Volunteer Services department and attend area specific training after placement.
